Lane Council of Governments Selects GTG to Review and Improve GIS Services

The Lane Council of Governments (LCOG) has selected Geographic Technologies Group (GTG) to review, design, and implement a comprehensive plan to improve GIS technology and data services for the multi-partner organization. LCOG provides a collection of services to local governments and agencies in the Lane County, Oregon region and assists members with a range of projects which include administration, financial, planning, senior and Disability Services, technological.

As part of the work, GTG will review and restructure shared GIS data systems and services administered under the Cooperative Partnership Agreement (CPA). The contract will include a detailed needs assessment and implementation plan. GTG will conduct a comprehensive review of:

  • Existing regionally shared spatial data system architecture
  • Centralized services
  • Technology framework
  • Partner Interactions
