Position Title: Senior GIS Analyst

Position Duties: Collect, compile, organize, and analyze spatial and tabular data to assist in the development of Geographic Information System (GIS) applications; responsible for updating and maintaining complex database information using current technologies. Serve as working project manager for projects relating to GIS technology, and data programs and/or working as a high-level GIS and data specialist for programming/application development, spatial/tabular data processing, cartographic production/digital mapping, data management, data collection, and data entry; may also perform other planning/computer related duties as needed; mentor and monitor work of GIS Analysts. Telecommuting on days not required to physically report for work allowed; required to physically report for work 4 to 6 days per month.

Minimum Job Requirements: Required are: a) Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Information Technology, or related field; b) 18 months work experience as Senior GIS analyst, telecom specialist, database administrator, or related occupation; c) 18 months of work experience using Esri software, with special emphasis on ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online software, APIs, and associated solutions; and d) 18 months of work experience using: Python, JavaScript, ArcGIS Platforms, and Feature Manipulation Engine (FME).

Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
